On March 29, 2025, the first issue of Higher Education in Kazakhstan for the current year was published. This issue features 10 academic articles by authors from Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Turkey, and Uzbekistan. The publication includes theoretical and practical research articles, as well as review studies on current and relevant topics. These include teacher training in universities—particularly the development of professional competencies—innovative teaching methods in higher education, improved approaches to student learning, and the advancement of student-centered education.

Higher Education in Kazakhstan has been published quarterly since 2013. As of April 1, 2024, it has been included in the list of recommended sources by the Committee for Quality Assurance in the Sphere of Science and Higher Education (KOKSN) of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and it is now published in English.
