The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan has begun implementing the project “Assessment of the needs for technical support from UNESCO in the field of higher education - Kazakhstan”. This project, implemented by Higher Education Development National Center of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the UNESCO Cluster Bureau with the support of the Trust Fund of the Republic of Korea (KFIT), provides for the further development of higher education in Kazakhstan and its integration into the global educational community.

This initiative of our country is aimed at developing cross-border mobility and recognizing higher education qualifications, ratifying the Tokyo and Global Conventions, and integrating into the educational space of the Asia-Pacific region (APR).

Kazakhstan's membership in the European Higher Education Area has allowed our country to gain extensive experience on issues of cross-border mobility and fair recognition of higher education qualifications.
