Round table "Digital transformation of the university Through training, research and successful innovation"
On September 20, 2022, Astana IT University held a round table for Kazakhstani universities as part of the co-chairmanship of Kazakhstan in the Bologna Follow-Up Group (BFUG) on the topic “Digital transformation of the university. Through education, research and successful innovation”.
The purpose: Exchange of experience between universities on digital transformation, development and implementation of new platforms for managing educational and research processes.
Director of the Bologna Process and Academic Mobility Center Aidos Mukhatayev had a speech on the topic “Kazakhstan's co-chairmanship in the Bologna Follow-Up Group”. A. Mukhatayev spoke about the growth of the image and recognition of the Kazakh system of higher education for the European educational area, the recognition of our country at the international level in the light of co-chairmanship. Co-chairmanship of Kazakhstan in the Bologna process will give impetus to improve approaches to the development of higher education and strengthen cooperation in the region.
Also, at the round table, reports were presented on such topical issues in the field of higher education as digital university systems, the use of educational analytics; the University of International Business, the Kazakh-British Technical University and the East Kazakhstan University named after D. Serikbayev shared their experience in developing a digital university.
