The results of QS World University Rankings 2023, which included 16 Kazakhstani universities, have been published.

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University entered the TOP-150 this year. Eurasian National University named after L.N.Gumilyov and South Kazakhstan University named after M.Auezov got on the ratings up and positioned themselves on the 277th and 443rd places.

Satbayev University (405th place), Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai (511-520) and Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (511-560) also positioned well.

Karaganda Technical University and Kazakh National Medical University named after S.Asfendiyarov figured in the TOP-700 while Kazakh-British Technical University, KIMEP University and Karaganda University named after E.A.Buketov held positions in the TOP-1000.

Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, Kazakh Agrotechnical University named after S. Seifullin and Toraighyrov University ranked in the 1000+.

Also worthy of special attention are the Almaty Technological University and the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Akhmet Yassawi, which entered the ratings for the first time this year, positioning themselves in the 561st and 701st places, respectively.

Among foreign universities, the top three are Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of Cambridge and Stanford University.
